About
Joltbox started as a shared spreadsheet. Three of us kept texting each other about games we'd found on the bus, and eventually the list got too long to keep in a chat. So we built a place for it.,We focus on puzzles and casual games because that's what we actually reach for. Not everyone wants a forty-hour epic on a five-inch screen. Sometimes you want ten smart minutes while the kettle boils, and finding those games is harder than it sounds.,Nothing gets a write-up until at least two of us have played it properly. We look for clever ideas, fair difficulty, and whether the game respects your time and your wallet. Ads that block every third move get called out. So do fake progress bars.,We're not tied to any studio and we buy or download everything ourselves. If a game disappoints, we say so plainly. That's the whole point of doing this.
