Honest looks at pocket puzzles

We play the small stuff so you don't waste a download. Every review here comes from real sessions on real phones, plus notes on what stays fun after week one.

Why us

We actually finish them

No skimming the tutorial and calling it a day. We play until the game either grabs us or runs out of ideas.

No paid placements

Studios can't buy a better score. Every rating is ours, argued over coffee and sometimes changed after a second week.

Notes on the annoying bits

We flag pushy ads, energy timers and paywalls up front, so surprises stay inside the puzzles.

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We pick from what we're actually playing, plus reader suggestions and a scan of new puzzle and casual releases. A game needs a fresh idea or unusually good execution to make the cut. We don't cover everything, only what we think is worth your time.

Do studios pay you for reviews?

No. We buy or download everything ourselves and no one can pay for a higher score. If a studio offers money for coverage, we decline, and we'd rather tell you plainly than pretend that never happens.

Can I suggest a game?

Please do. Email us with the name and where to find it, and a line about why you think it's interesting. We can't promise to cover it, but we read every message and keep a running list.

Is there advertising on the site?

We may run a few unobtrusive ads to cover hosting, but they never affect our opinions or scores. Editorial and advertising stay strictly separate. If that ever changes, we'll say so openly.
